Perhaps one of our more remote spots. Hazelwood has 2 small pitches sharing a 2 acre site in an elevated section of the woods. There is space for a couple of small tents on each pitch. The 2 pitches share composting toilets and bucket showers. This pitch is closed in the early part of the season due to the proliferation of bluebells. An ancient spot for you to chill and relax! There is a steep approach to hazel wood, and water is about 40 metres away down this slope. We provide logs everyday for each pitch, and a fire kettle to heat the water for the shower.
Please note that we request visitors are quiet after 9pm and this condition is part of our terms and conditions. Please do not play loud music or make other excessive noise after this time. This is a family campsite located in relatively isolated and quiet woodland setting. Visitors who fail to follow this request may be asked to leave.
***** Please note that Hazelwood is on a raised plateau and access is via a very steep woodland track (about 100m in length). You will probably need to use our wheelbarrows to get your kit and belongings up to the track!*****

What a great place!
I have a 4yr and 8yr old boys. I think this is the most fun they’ve ever had camping!The facilities, location and service is outstanding. Just good old fashioned camping, campfires, building dens in the woods and getting dirty like kids used to. Just brilliant will definately be returning!
