






THE WOODLAND SCHOOL
At the Woodland School we are passionate about sharing what great things the woods have to offer. Our camp has a broad range of activities and events that are weaved into the family friendly camping at Southover Woods.
We aim to teach the next generation and we pride ourselves in supporting our children to learn and grow in nature’s playground. Parenting can be pressure-filled and we get that, our child friendly courses are minimal effort and spending, so kick back at the cracking campfire with the sun on your face while they get dirty hands and strong imaginations.
Chloe created the Woodland School after seeing not only the way her children thrived but also the way children needing extra emotional support improved. We want to encourage children to take controlled risks and radiate self confidence and belief.
At The Woodland School we can host the best birthday parties for Children. Keep your house and garden mess free by using our venue. Let us plan and present the event for you, making it stress free and smooth running. We can also offer catering, so just bring the cake!
Prices start from £15 per child (5-12) minimum of 8 children.

Parent support groups are a great way to meet other parents for practical and emotional support. Chloe is a local parent to 3 boys.
Although this group welcomes babies and toddlers to enjoy our woodland, we also want to make it accessible to parents too. Parents are our main focus here. We feel its important to make sure parents feel they can relax in a judgment free, open environment. We want to give as much support as we can, to empower and boost self confidence.
“Parenting was very lonely for me, I hated going to groups. I felt uncomfortable walking into a room, with nothing but a sea of plastic. I wanted to provide a woodland setting, where parents can have a cuppa and a cuddle when they are feeling lonely or in need of support. I want to shape a local network of like minded parents who benefit from being outside.”

Our Holiday clubs and family events are provided in a safe and secure environment. Children and adults alike have a brilliant time and come home tired out and happy. We offer affordable child care for parents as well as days out that don’t cost a fortune!
With our Holiday Clubs and events children will acquire new skills that will promote creativity, learning and social skills. Get outdoors with the family at one of our family events. Enjoy quality time together while trying out some fresh and fun activities.

Escape into a Woodland and experience soulful relaxation. We have created a program that focuses on improving the wellbeing and mental health of our clients while making sure we have the correct support networks in place if and when required. Mental health can sometimes be our biggest challenge and we want to help you discover what inner strength you have. We want to release that self doubt or limiting beliefs and guide you to empowerment and self worth. We encourage you to rethink your values and sense of purpose. When finding that purpose then connect to it and fulfill. We invite you to go outside as nature holds the key to our aesthetic, intellectual, cognitive and even spiritual satisfaction.
Woodlands and Wellness, What are the benefits?
Trees offer multiple health benefits, from allergy reductions to increases in self-esteem and mental wellbeing. Regular access to nature is vital for good mental and physical health. Spending more time in nature has been shown to steady levels of cortisol, a stress hormone.
Woodlands provide an opportunity to exercise in a calm and restful environment. Exercise in woodlands has been shown to relieve physical symptoms such as high blood pressure and obesity, as well as mental symptoms of stress and depression.
